Hello bloggers. Well well well, it's almost the end of the week; exactly one week after my last entry and here I am again. Ha! I am determined to blog oo, and I think I'm getting a hang of it. So since my come back, I've been up and down this place looking for interesting blogs to stalk (not really stalk but you know "follow", you ain't heard, this is MY tweeter... TWET!) since basically all the ones I use to "follow" are either shut down or I can't locate them for some reason, either way I've been snooping. I need me some blogger neighbors... are you it?!
Just now, I just caught up with Arewa... my lawd and my gawd! The girl is funny. Too many quotables, one of my fav being "I get so excited when he says something goofy like I cant wait to put a baby inside you. Like having children out of wedlock is funny. *hiss*" - OMG LWKM, and that is just one quote oo, I most def will be stalking the girl (Hey Girl! lol).
Another Blogger that caught my interest is GNG- GoodNaijaGirl, okay I was hooked the moment my eyes caught her headline "Murdering the Yoruba Language since 1979" I died laughing, at that very moment she had me hooked (yea I knw I have a weird sense of humor, I laugh at the darnest things but I love that tho cuz it's so unusual. Most ppl don't find most things I find funny to be funny but here I'll be cracking a rib or two, smh lol) so I thot "My kinda girl!".
Ahhh Oh also one of those I use to follow, found out she did get married, is preggo within the how many months I disappeared? Kai, see how much I missed being away and now she left Blogville for a little while *sad sigh*.. I hope she comes back soon tho, I really enjoyed her blog.
Anyway, my search continues... I am looking, you never know when I'll drop in in one of your post. Till then... off to more reading, seriously that Arewa girl is a trip, love her posts.
Oh and PS!
This terrible weather of New England is back ooo! with full force... what sort of rubbish is this? We didn't even have a summer so what the heck yo! mcheww. The freaking weather is in the 60s, it is terribly cold! I don't understand why I'm still here HISS*
This is rubbish... a princess like me is not suppose to be "chopping" this kind of cold and also be catching flu and what not (that is another story entirely)... let me just sit here with my two layers and think of wonderful warm weather in Naij
Ahhhhhhh-Mazing! :D

Oct 1: Hope for a better Nigeria
Nigeria celebrates her 49th years of freedom from the British, it's a good day to take pride in our country. I love my country and wouldn't trade her for another! I might adopt another but never can replace Nigeria ever and ever. I am noticing a lot of Nigerians, some of whom are friends of mine, bad mouthing Nigeria... my own is talk all you want, point fingers for all I care, it doesn't change the fact that you hail from there. She's yours forever! I don't care how far you run away from the land of your fathers, you still have our blood in you.
Infact, I'm tired of hearing our ppl (most esp my generation) complaining, analyzing/dissecting and comparing Nigeria to other nations! Shut up, just shut your stupid mouths... if you're not doing anything or planning to do something that will contribute to the "betterment" of Nigeria, all you want to do is sit your ass in Jand/Yankee and make noise (yes, it is noise to me, very irritating noise) then pls just shut up! do it in the privacy of your own bedroom, cause I don't wanna hear it... nonsense.
Stop the negative remarks and picking on Nigeria's shortcomings, instead how about you prophecy positives and hope for better tomorrow for us and generations to come. How about you join movements like the #LightupNigeria campaign (www.lightupnigeria.com)or better yet start a revolution, be the change you want to see... don't talk about it, be about it! Rome wasn't built in a day & def not by 1 person but with collective effort & I'm sure with patience as well. So let's take it one step @ a time, we will get there just have faith in her. Thank God for Democracy.
That said, I wish all the Nigerians near or far a very Happy Independence day! A change is coming, don't give up on Nigeria... let the negatives motivate you to bring about the change our beloved country needs. Remember "to be faithful, loyal and honest. Serve Nigeria with all my strength, defend her unity, and uphold her honour and glory.."
Nigeria, I wish you better governance, better policies. I wish you to be a better country in general cause I know you have the potential to stand tall among many other great nations... we are rooting for you! Happy 49th!

School... Have It Your Way.
I'm a lot tired these days, with school and work but I'm hanging in there even if it's by thread.
Hello Bloggers,
September is surely rolling away and I'm excited, I cannot wait till December is here!! There's a lot to look forward to, I'm making plans and hopefully God works in my favor as he always have.
Getting to school when I leave work @ 7am (as a gravenight shifter) is not an easy task. First of all, my school is (with no traffic) a good hour and thirty mins. Now that is a different story when I get on the road, during rush hour!!! Ahh, it is annoying and tiring, to the point where by the time I get to school, barely making the time for my first class, all I want to do is sleep. Which I have been doing these past couple of classes... I didn't go to class not cause I'm extraordinarily late, but because all it seems I do when I sit down in front of the professor is SLEEP! It's not cute!!
After much thinking and summing courage, I go to my 9:30 professor and tell him my problem. He hesitated to my request for a bit "errrr.. I don't know", but he gave in and now I don't have to come to class, all I have to do is report to his office @ 1pm with another student in the same situation as me, that way we're not missing anything from the class. I am soooooo relieved, so now I can take my time getting to school, and even have couple of hours to rest my eye!! God is indeedy awesome. So that plan is already in effect and Thursday is the first trial of my new schedule. Aside that everything is great!

My first week in September
Hello bloggers.
So my first week of September wasn't too bad. School started and so far so good, aside the transport I have to make down to school. A whole 2hr drive to and 1hr+ back, I mean at this point I'm starting to rethink working and schooling at the same time. I never had to do it, so doing it now is proving exhausting.. don't know how much longer I can do it. If you any advice for me, whether you've done it before (school and work) or know someone who has, I am so up for the comments.
So, last weekend one of my girlfriends got married! woohoo. It was a blast! I had fun with the other girls, although I missed some important part of the reception because I had to go pick someone up, I was still able to dance and mingle with others and after went back to her house and hung out with our friends and famz. Yep, that about sums up my labor day weekend. Oh also heard that Gani Faweyinmi died @ age 71, it was unfortunate and sad, I like that man... I met him before and my mom is a big fan of him, so it was no surprise when I texted her about the news that she immediately called me back (I found it funny tho lol, she refuses to learn how to text.. I need to teach tha woman how to do the whole texting/tech stuff). She said "wow, Nigeria just lost a very important person..."
This week has been awesome as well, so many birthdays it's like everyone and their mama (including mine) was born in september. Anyhoo, shoutout to my baby sis.. Happy birthday boo Love you xoxo. toodles.
PS, I've had this homework for this class since last thursday and yet to do it! OMG I do not miss school and procrastination is starting to kick in. HELP!

Wake me up, when September begins
Hi y'all.. okay this whole blogging business is no joke! How do you do it, please let a sister know! Cuz this is just ridiculous you know.. gone since February, talk about waking up in September, tsk tsk.
Updates? Well Ex-boy is history as of this moment and hopefully he stays that way, although something in me still wants to see him since I haven't set my eyes on him since like 3yrs back or something but who's counting right, lol I am. Just want to see him and slap him, then parade what he is missing and will NEVER in his life have. yup and then I can be happy forever LOL, at least in my mind that's what I hope.
Since the last time, I've "graduated" oo.. as in the Undergrad/First Degree was a tough one, no one told me this before hand so now it is my personal burden to help my younger siblings and cousins not to follow the same road I did. I could have soooo done better but I'm still thankful for where I am, I'm still yet to reach my potential but in due time.
As per the last gist, lol (I read it over and just laughed) bye gone are bye gone. At this point, he has bitten the tiger's tail and can never in his life contact me.. unless he wants eternal curse on him. I surely gave him a piece of my mind after he told me I was delusional when the discussion of the occasion that is caused the problem with us happened, I told him his whole generation is delusional... I am the wrong one mehn and he knows it now :) Mission Accomplished.
Right now, I'm just chilling, working and having a relaxed fun of my life, I don't deal well with stress. Work is good, Life is good, and Family is good, God is def good so nothing to complain about.
Till next time, have a happy new month.. ciao.
